Is it true that we should say Bismillah before exposing our awrah so that the Jinns don’t see us naked?
Answer
Saying Bismillah before exposing our awrah is proven from the Sunnah. The Prophet said:
‘The screen between the eyes of the Jinns and nakedness of the children of Adam when one of you enters the area of relieving oneself is saying: ‘Bismillah.’
Narrated by At-Tirmidhi in Al-Jami 606; and it is Hasan.
